Peter Chan 
(曾彼得)

Managing Partner. Peter is the founder and Managing Partner of Crest Capital Asia, a regional private equity practice investing in mid-cap enterprises in Singapore, Australia and Indonesia specializing in designing and customizing alternative direct investment programmes for regional clients and managing the assets under these programmes.

Peter started his private equity career in 1987 with one of the earliest US private equity firms in Asia. He then joined a division of ING Barings Asia Private Equity as Managing Director in 1996 to start its investment programme in Asia and setting up offices in Singapore, Indonesia, India, China, Taiwan and South Korea. He then acquired the platform to set up Crest Capital Asia in 2004 and re-focused the business. Peter is responsible for conceptualizing, innovating new fund strategies as well as investor communication.

Peter graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) Degree from the National University of Singapore. He is board member of Clarity, a not-for-profit organization which mission is to provide healing and support for people with mental conditions to help them regain self-confidence, re-discover their abilities and beauty in life.

Katherine Ang
(洪銝䔖)

Chief Operating Officer. Katherine has two sets of operating responsibilities: first, in managing the investment team and resources to deal with new transaction processing as well as portfolio monitoring; and, second, supervising the transactional and portfolio management activities to ensure ongoing compliance to the firm’s standard operating procedures.

Prior to joining the firm, she was a senior accountant in a local listed company where she was responsible for the preparation and reviewing of consolidation results for the operations in the United Kingdom. She started her career with Deloitte Singapore where she gained experience in the external audits of multinationals and Singapore listed companies. Katherine graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from Nanyang Technological University.

Cheryl Tan
(陈思慧)

Finance & Portfolio Manager. Cheryl is responsible for reporting and management of the Fund’s financial affairs, statutory compliance and reporting,investor communicationandreporting. She also oversees the Fund’s investment portfolio performance, cash management as well as compliance, internal control and enterprise risk management.

Cheryl started her career as an external auditor where she gained valuable experience in various industries such as shipping, trading, services. Prior to joining the firm, she was an assistant manager in subsidiary of a UK listed company. She was responsible for liquidity planning, treasury, process design and mapping. She was also leading digital transformation projects to automate certain processes within the company. She graduated with Bachelor Degree (Hons) in Finance, Accounting and Management from the University of Nottingham, and she is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore. Cheryl is fluent in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu and other major Chinese dialects.

Jasmine Yeoh
(杨微莉)

Compliance Supervisor. Jasmine is responsible for supervising compliance to regulatory processes, standard operating procedures, internal controls as well as investment monitoring programme in the Firm’s portfolio administration. She is the liaison person with statutory auditors, internal and compliance auditors. Jasmine also manages all legal related matters and communication with the relevant authorities and legislative agencies.

Prior to this position, she was an audit assistant manager in EY Singapore where she had over 5 years of experience auditing asset management firms and Singapore listed companies where she gained experience in their compliance and governance regulatory frameworks, for instance, under the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Singapore Exchange.

Jasmine graduated with a Master of Science (Accountancy & Finance) from Birmingham City University, United Kingdom. She is also a professional member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Clare Chan
(曾凯俐)

Investment Analyst. Clare carries out investment analysis, financial modelling, project research and feasibility studies, legal documentation, investee and portfolio performance monitoring. Prior to that, she was a senior associate in EY Singapore where she had 3 years of experience auditing companies across various industries ranging from Commodities Trading, Logistic and Investment Holding Companies. Clare graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Accountancy and Finance) from the University of Exeter. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Kalyn Lii
(李佳玲)

Senior Accounts Executive. Kalyn handles full set of accounts for Funds and investee companies. She supports finance manager in Funds and investee cash control, as well as statutory compliance such as internal/external audit, income tax and GST. She has 15 years of accounting, finance and administrative experience. She graduated with a Diploma in LCCI (London Chamber of Commerce and Industry) major in accounting. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Soh Poh Cheng
(苏宝贞)

Documentation Officer. The Documentation Officers are staff dedicated to assisting investors who are applying for permanent residence under the Singapore GIP. They are responsible for managing the flow of Singapore permanent residence application process starting from online submission, and continuing with documentation up to completion with immigration processes.
